The International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) World of Bluegrass week kicks off today in Raleigh, North Carolina where you can celebrate, participate and enjoy anything and everything bluegrass!
International Bluegrass Music Association, (IBMA) has announced the nominations for their annual awards and this year, Deering is thrilled to announce that we have been recognized by IBMA for our contributions to bluegrass music and will be bestowed with the Distinguished Achievement Award during the IBMA World of Bluegrass Conference in Raleigh, NC on Thursday, October 2nd. Each year, IBMA honor five individuals and on behalf of everyone at Deering Banjo Company, we are extremely proud to be one of these five recipients this year. We would also like to congratulate the other four recipients of this prestigious award!
The weather outside is getting balmy, springtime approaches and festival season will be in full swing before we know it. Deering representatives will be “on the road” as well, visiting festivals and hoping to meet and greet as many folks as we can. Here is our upcoming travel schedule. Come on by and pick a little with us!
