E3, the worlds largest gaming expo descended onto the Los Angeles Convention Center this week, and Sony opened up proceedings in true style, with the help of a Deering Boston 6 A/E banjo.
The Boston 6 was played by award winning film composer Gustavo Santaolalla, who kicked off Sony's announcement of their highly anticipated release, "The Last of Us, Part II".
Santaolalla, who won back to back Academy Awards for his work on Brokeback Mountain (2005)and Babel (2006), treated a packed house to the beautifully haunting theme tune to the upcoming game.
