San Diego Academy Jan. 17

The Kruger Brothers are bringing their famous music academy to the Deering Banjo Company, on Sunday January 17, 2016.

This one-day event is a unique opportunity to learn from some of the most skilled musicians in their field. Come study with guitarist Uwe Kruger, bassist Joel Landsberg and banjoist and composer Jens Kruger, the fourth winner of the Steve Martin Prize for Excellence in Bluegrass and Banjo. Every level of student is welcome.

The depth and breadth of Jens, Uwe and Joel’s skills, combined with their ability to teach and the understanding of how to help you play better, will give students a learning experience unlike any other in their areas of expertise.

The day agenda is laid out below starting with the always entertaining introduction with the Kruger Brothers. Then attendees will split up into different rooms, one for Bass players with Joel, one with Banjo with Jens and the third with Uwe on Guitar! There you will have the chance to learn directly from the masters and ask any questions you may have.
