Deering Banjo artist Tony Trischka is one of the premier 5-string banjoists to ever take up the instrument. Tony was at the forefront of the push to take the 5-string banjo to new places musically. He has recorded music on the banjo with styles ranging from bluegrass, classical, jazz, world music, and more. He is a multi Grammy nominee, IBMA Award winner, and 2012 United States Artists Friends Fellow.
