As the popularity of [6-string banjo](https://www.deeringbanjos.com/collections/6-string-banjos-the-guitar-players-banjo) continues to soar, Deering proudly introduces its latest offer: the [Artisan Goodtime Six-R 6-String Banjo (A6S-R)](https://www.deeringbanjos.com/products/artisan-goodtime-six-r-6-string-banjo). Based on Deering’s hugely popular Artisan line of banjos, the A6S-R is tuned and played like a guitar, creating endless possibilities. This distinguished instrument captivates with its rich dark brown stain, exuding a timeless vintage vibe.

Designed for optimal sound projection, the Artisan Goodtime Six-R 6-String Banjo features a resonator back, a stunning Pau Ferro fingerboard, and elegant pearloid block inlays. Additionally, musicians will appreciate the inclusion of a two-way truss rod, facilitating easy neck relief adjustments to suit individual preferences.

The neck is slender, with a 1 11/16” nut width, making for a very quick and comfortable paying experience. Six smooth geared tuners sit in a 3x3 configuration and offer effortless and stable tuning from their 14:1 ratio.

Handcrafted with precision in Spring Valley, California, at the esteemed Deering Banjo Company workshop, the Artisan Goodtime A6SR caters perfectly to studio guitarists seeking to add a different tone to their repertoire, theater musicians, or anyone looking to express their signature 6-string licks with the distinct clarity and brightness synonymous with banjo resonance. Experience the harmonious blend of tradition and innovation with the Artisan Goodtime A6SR.
