The Deering Banjos 40th Anniversary Celebration & Benefit Concert aboard the Star of India Ship is right around the corner. We are proud to be an American and local San Diego company, and honored to share this milestone with you while giving back to the community at the same time!

Get your tickets while they last here.

We are thrilled to have the Kruger Brothers headlining the evening. Jens Kruger is heralded as one of the top banjo players in the world, and along with his masterful brother Uwe Kruger and Joel Landsberg, they are looking forward to sharing their music with you. Rarely do they make it out to San Diego to play, so this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see them in such a spectacular setting.

If you have not had the chance to hear the Kruger Brothers…or cannot get enough of them, here is a video of some of their magic

Celebrations will begin at 7pm with San Diego Deering Artists performing around the ship while a Silent Auction filled with sought after items goes on. Drinks will be available and the views incredible. Proceeds from the evening celebration and its Silent Auction will go to our event partner, the San Diego Music Foundation, to support Music in The Schools Programs around San Diego County.

The Silent Auction will be followed by surprise guests! You will have to be there to see who!!

The Star of India ship will remain docked for the evening with a view of the summer sunset over the bay, and no need to bring your sea legs!

Head over here for more info. We look forward to seeing you there!
