This weekend, Jan 16th and 17th, two Impressive bands featuring a Deering artist are performing in town!
Saturday night Jan 16th, The Kruger Brothers are putting on a full concert at The Museum of Making Music. One of the most innovative bands in American music, the versatile Kruger Brothers fuse classical, country, bluegrass and folk to create their highly progressive sound. With an ever expanding body of work, the Kruger Brothers – Jens Kruger (banjo and vocals), Uwe Kruger (guitar and lead vocals), and Joel Landsberg (bass and vocals) – personify the spirit of exploration and innovation that forms the core of the American musical tradition. Then to top it off.... on Sunday Jan 17th, the Gibson Brothers, heralded as "bluegrass superstars" by the New York Times, and International Bluegrass Music Association Entertainers of the Year Award winners, are playing two shows at the Del Mar Foundation!
