San Diego native Cody Lovaas and his Goodtime Solana 6 visited the Deering factory a couple of weeks ago to film a spot for the Deering Woodroom Sessions.
The young singer/songwriter/surfer has been creating quite the buzz on the San Diego music scene. He has recently been on tour opening for fellow San Diegan, Jason Mraz who discovered Cody's raw talent after seeing him play at a cafe.
In 2014, Cody became the youngest recipient of the San Diego Music Awards "Best New Artist" award and was later nominated for "Best Singer Songwriter" in 2015. Cody is also involved with a number of charitable organizations including Hurley’s H2O program, Guitars In The Classroom, SurfAid, and Natural High.
So sit back, relax and enjoy Cody as he performs his song, "Roses & Thorns".
